We
visited Auckland Zoo last week with the older children. It was a great trip and
gave the children the opportunity to observe animal’s behaviour without the
pressure of running out of time. The added bonus was the parents were able to
spend the time seeing the zoo through the children’s eyes. The children have
been revisiting their ideas and knowledge around wildlife, building their own
zoo enclosures and drawing detailed pictures of the animals.
